A: If you are experienced in cutting and welding steel and working
with build plans...then YES you can build this lift. We recommend
hiring someone with experience to build this lift from the plans.
There is, no doubt, someone in your hometown who does this kind of
work.
Q: How much weight can it hold?
A: 1000 lbs
Q: How long of a boat can it hold?
A: 12 foot to 18 foot aluminum boat. It depends on the size of your existing tow
behind trailer and the width of your boat.
Q: Is it DOT legal in all states?
A: As far as we know, YES. We have used this across the US and in
Canada.
Q: Do I receive hard copy plans or are
they on a CD?
A: We ship you the hard copy plans on large scale print paper.
Q: Do you know somebody who could build
this for me?

will build this boat lift onto your existing trailer. Cost including
materials for an aluminum boat and a cable lift is $2500.00
With a hydraulic lift the cost is $3500.00
